Lido Key Sunset

One shot in the first slide show will look out of place. I shot that on a different day.

Garden Gallery

These are some of my favorite images from my recent trip to Pennsylvania to photograph gardens for a landscape architect's website. Most of these are not on the site because the shots needed for that show the design elements of the garden. My interest is mostly colors.

The woman who appears twice (if you watch long enough) is the landscape architect. Her name is Jamie Collins and if you happen to live in New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania and have thought about turning your yard into a true showpiece, she's the one to do it. She marries a love of plants with a mastery of the technical aspects of design. She really does terrific work. Her website is www.CedarLineDesign.com.

She also has a photogenic cat and a table that provided indoor still life shots.

Medard Park

These are a few shots from a recent outing to a county park. I like the shot of the bird that looks like it's headless. It was actually grooming itself on the side away from the camera. It takes a lot of patience to shoot nature. It also takes a lot of bug spray, which repels mosquitoes but, unfortunately, not flies.
